Is your life o.k., but your work life is hitting obstacles? If so, it could be your
belief system. But belief is a big idea…so let’s start at the other end – behavior.
Results in our business, and our life, come from our behavior. Behavior such as what we
do, how we respond or react, what we say, and so on. We think more about our behavior such as
"I know smoking is bad for me, but---" and how we feel about the results— "I'm not happy with my life, my partner, my
lack of a partner, my health, my smoking, my income" and so on.
In reality, our behavior is driven by our beliefs. While some of these may be religious
beliefs, many are more broad than that.
| Limiting Beliefs |
Empowering Beliefs |
- I am not enough
- I am powerless
- I fear myself
- I hate myself
- I fear others
- I make too many mistakes
- I am afraid
|
- I am enough
- I am powerful
- I trust myself
- I love myself
- I trust others
- I move through my world with ease and grace
- I am safe

This list goes on and on and on. Some will be the same for many of us and some are just
for me or you.
Beliefs such as these come from many places.
Sometimes, we adopt them if we grow up in an unsupportive home—one with alcoholism or violence or insistence on perfection. Sometimes, they come from a traumatic event such as a divorce, accident, mugging, rape, war, or other event we consider traumatic. It really is not important to know exactly the source. What is important, is that the beliefs limit you from having the business or life results you want.
We hold our beliefs energetically; they are part of our makeup. The approach offered by PEP helps you adjust your beliefs—one at a time—by making an adjustment to your energy. Adjusting “I make too many mistakes” to “ I move through my world with ease and grace” supports significant behavior change leading to significantly different results—in business and in life.
New beliefs equal new success. Instantly. Believe it.
